29 May 2015Although I haven't put it through it's paces, what use I have given it, has been very pleasing so far.

Good product; makes repetive cutting a breeze
By: Charles Faulkner on 4 June 2014This is a well engineered, high quality product. Works well on stripwood and balsa. On styrene, the cuts are less precise, as the blade tends to twist slightly on the harder material. I work in N scale, though, so I am dealing with very small pieces requiring extreme precision. The Chopper I has been around forever and the Chopper II is a great improvement, especially the replaceable cutting surface. Only thing I would improve is to allow the cutting arm to swing up a bit more to allow extra space to clear cut material.

Chop-sticks and chop-styrene.
By: Steve Potter on 26 May 2014The Chopper II is a fantastic product for scratch building models. It allows you to cut multiple pieces of the same length material; simply set the jig to the correct mitre and/or length and start cutting. A good clean cut every time and it's very easy to replace the single edge razor blade. I wouldn't be without the Chopper II for my modelling work.
