Save time - and your fingers
By: MadRam on 20 July 2014Using a pin-vise to hold and use micro-drills is fine for one or two holes, but when you have a number of holes to do this little chuck is a real timesaver. Not to mention being a lot easier on the fingers and hand! I have successfully used the micro-chuck with drills down to #80 (0.34mm), fitted to a Bosch IXO 3.6V Li-Ion Cordless Screwdriver. This screwdriver has a nice low speed so you can drill with a lot of control and less risk of breaking the drill bit. If you do a lot of drilling with micro-drills, it’s worth having a couple of these chuck so you can leave your favourite drill bits in them and always have them ready to hand.
