Carpenter levels are just too large and inaccurate for machine set-up, and too clumsy for measuring model railroad track grades and superelevation. So, we encased our high precision digital level in a compact housing that's only 2 inches square by 1 inch deep. At the press of a button, the large LCD reads the relative angle between machine surfaces or the percent grade from sea level. Embedded magnets attach it securely to cast-iron/steel surfaces for hands-free measurement.

Range: 0 to 45 degrees/100%. Readability: 0.05 degrees/0.01%. Hold button remembers last reading. Housing made from durable CNC-machined, satin-finish alloy. Includes 9v battery and auto shut-off battery saver.
