Shipping & Returns

We send the majority of all orders with Australia Post - eParcel, Express eParcel and also use 
Couriers Please and Fastway. All parcels are sent with a tracking number.  The option of a Courier for delivery is impacted by the delivery schedule of Couriers and in some cases may not be faster than Australia Post.  Where possible we will send with the quickest possible freight option.

Couriers Please - Melbourne and Suburbs
We can send orders with Couriers Please to all Melbourne Suburbs and this can be arranged with us - If sending to a Private house you must be there to collect.

Pick-Up from 
You can also pick-up from the factory in Braeside. Please place your order online and choose the pickup option. Pick-Up orders can only be collected - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm (Excluding Public Holidays). We will email the collection address once you place your order and please give us at least an hour to pick your order. If using PayPal for the collection Don't Use the first Check Out with PayPal button there is a second PayPal link further in.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

From time to time we also may have to adjust your shipping price up or down as every item is not a standard size. We will make you well aware of these adjustments before we finalise order.

Delivery charges and information
Dispatching customer orders on time and efficiently is important here at Hobby Tools Australia. We notify you as soon as orders are dispatched. We use Australia Post and Couriers Please for all Domestic shipments. And Australia Post for all International shipments. All charges are at delivery and packaging cost. 

With all international orders we may need to quote you. All overseas freight is sent with Australia Post.

Orders are sent within 24-48 hours of receipt. This will allow for any unusual delays which may occur and most orders are sent within 24 hours of receipt. The only exceptions are Saturday and Sunday and public holidyas (warehouse not open) or when a stock line has run out. Also if orders are received after 2.30pm on the day they could go into the next days orders. We try to maintain a 95% stock holding at all times.

From Melbourne to: all other locations within Victoria

1 - 3 working days

From Melbourne to: Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Hobart

2 - 3 working days

From Melbourne to: Perth and Darwin

3 - 10 working days

To all other interstate locations from Melbourne

4 - 14 working days

Express Deliveries are not guaranteed next day service - It is a quicker form of delivery and to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane it is our quickest form of delivery.  Queensland, WA and NT can still take more than 5 business days express post.

International Delivery

Delivery to over 200 countries (Economy and Express Air Mail)

International Orders:

With all international orders we may need to quote you or adjust postage price. All overseas freight is sent with Australia Post and the receiver is resposible for all duties and taxes in their own country.

Unclaimed Parcels and incorrectly addressed returns.
Parcels that come back to us that have been incorrectly addressed or unclaimed by the receiver will attract a return charge of between $12 and $30 and we will also have to recharge another postage charge on top to resend it. Australia Post and TNT charge these fees so please keep a track of your parcels.


Returns for faulty products will be given as per ACCC guarantees. For change of mind purchases a store credit will be be issued only. **We cannot accept returns for products that have been specially ordered in**

If you are returning goods you will need prior approval from Hobby Tools Australia before sending. They must be returned using Registered Post or a Courier Service with tracking.

Glues and Flammables.
These cannot be shipped by air and must travel by road transport.
