When mounting a cutter in a lathe tool post, it is imperative that the cutting edge is aligned exactly at the centerline of the workpiece.

This 6-piece Steel Shim Set provides just the right selection of thicknesses to achieve that critical alignment, either individually or combined, to achieve the height required.

Set includes: 0.1 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm and 2 mm shims.  Each shim is 9.53mm wide x 44.45mm long.
