Proxxon Bench Circular Saw KS 230
With a quiet and long-lasting 240 volt - 85W motor, the KS 230 bench circular saw can cut soft woods (up to 8mm, recommended) as well as plastics or laminated phenolic (up to 3mm, recommended), or non-ferrous metals (up to 1.5mm, recommended).
Inside the sturdy casing, the cutting blade (running on quality ball bearings) is driven via a toothed belt at approximately 5,000rpm.
With The tungsten carbide blade, you can also cut fibreglass reinforced printed circuit boards or FR-4 laminate. A side panel on the machine makes for easy removal of sawdust.
Cutting sessions must be kept under 15mins followed by a 15min cooling off period.
