The superfine sander with linear sanding motion (as opposed to rotary or orbital) operates at 8,000 strokes per minute with a 2.5 mm stroke. With a stable housing of fibreglass reinforced POLYAMIDE, It is ideal for surfaces, slots and tight corners. Four sanding arbors of different shapes as well as 3 sheets of pre-profiled self-adhesive sanding pads are included. The sheets are of grits 180, 240 and 400 with 5 of each shape per sheet. The self adhesive sanding sheets come in: Square, triangle, round and rounded rectangle - They measure all under 25mm

Getting the best finish

I am a professional ship's model maker. I build square rigger ships frame by frame with an average number of 60 plus frames to the hull. All of the frames have to be fared in with sanding gear to a flat smooth condition in most cases to a tolerance of half a mil. This Pensander PS13 is the answer to problems when you have very little room to move you hands and be able to create this finish.
