All the load bearing components of this machine are made from die-cast aluminium, with milled seatings for the bearings and spindles. This sturdiness is essential for vibration-free, smooth thicknessing of hardwood and softwood.

The (triple spindled) table is also made from die-cast aluminium, and machined to close tolerances. The zero-adjustable hand wheel allows adjustments to 0.1mm.

Auto-feed is fitted as standard, as well as an anti-kickback device. The in feed roller is rifled and spring loaded to assist in feeding uneven materials, and the out feed roller is rubber coated to prevent marking the newly planed wood.

The cutting block is fitted with two HSS blades, and the controls are dust-protected with a no-volt release.
